A girl who was k at ten years old!dn@pped from her Jada, Adamawa State, house was discovered safe in the nearby Mayo-Belwa Local Government Area. Ummi Jafar was abducted by unidentified individuals from Jada LGA, but as soon as the kidnapping was reported, police conducted a quick search.
In Mayo-Belwa LGA, the infant was found abandoned at Mararaba Mbilla.
She was transported right away to a hospital for assessment, and once medical professionals determined that she was physically unhurt, she was released.
While the inquiry is ongoing, the girl is still in police custody.
A spokesperson for the Adamawa State Police Command affirmed that investigations are underway to determine the precise facts surrounding the occurrence and pinpoint the perpetrators of the k!dn@pping.
