Nigerian woman Charity Ekpeyong, who is set to wed her long-time partner Ntiedo Samson, has disclosed how the two of them first connected eleven years ago when they met in a taxi.

Charity said their love story was not without difficulties, but they overcame each one together as they shared their pre wedding and throwback pictures on Saturday, November 30.

We became friends after I met this young man in a taxi on my way from Eket to Uyo about 11 years ago. NseAbasi Valentine was expecting me because I was spending most of my weekends with her at the time.

However, it took some time for me to agree because I was just out of a relationship and wanted some alone time. I declined multiple appointments with him until one day, Precious Ifeoma wrote, “Baby, this guy has been pursuing your case for a while and he doesn’t want to give up.

He’s a very serious man who disturbs you like this. Try seeing me this weekend, and if you’re afraid, I’ll follow you.”

“Ifeoma, thank you for making sense of my thoughts. We both went, and the rest is history.

Our relationship grew stronger over the years, despite our ups and downs and disappointments (we see Shege Pro Max), but we persevered.”

“This is our version of Esther being broke and black.”
