Pashotah, the wife of popular content creator Kuye Adegoke aka Egungun from Lagos, has been slammed online.
Social media users attacked her for defending her husband after an angry woman leaked his private tape online. In the video, he is seen brushing his teeth during a video call with an unidentified woman while dressed in shorts, flashing his private parts to the lady on the call.
On Sunday, his wife publicly defended him, accusing the lady of attempting to blackmail him. She wrote, “Hi guys, someone is blackmailing me using my husband’s videos.
My name is Pashotah, and you all know who my husband is. I’m sure a lot of people, both men and women, have wanted to bring us down.
“I always choose to ignore, but I’m not ignoring today because the blackmailer didn’t go to Egungun of Lagos directly to blackmail him, but instead came to me because he wants to put me to shame, as he stated in his messages above, but one thing he (blackmailer) doesn’t know is that this relationship between myself and my husband was not built today; it has been coming for over 6-8 years, when we both had nothing.
“This relationship is based on trust, understanding, loyalty, commitment, and many other factors. So nothing can bring us down, not even now. However, some social media users objected to this.
An X user, identified as #Dr Penking on X.com, wrote, “So Egungun’s wife watched that video and still had the audacity to defend him? I thought we could all agree that Nigerian women now understand their worth. “Where was she when the decision was made?”
