Items seized during the arrest include fake EFCC ID cards, some fake EFCC letterheads, fake EFCC polo shirts and fake Special Anti-Money Laundering Unit (SCUML) shirts.
A man named Solomon Yohana is being investigated by the commission for alleged usurpation of position as an official of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission in Gombe Zonal Directorate.
The suspect was arrested on August 19, 2024 by the Department of State Services (DSS) in Guyuku Local Government Area of Adamawa State and handed over to the EFCC.

The commission said the suspect would be brought to trial as soon as investigations are completed.
