After receiving criticism for a recent live broadcast in which she acknowledged using drugs while on the air, well-known social media user King Mitchy has officially apologised to Nigerians.
In a video posted to her Instagram profile, Mitchy admitted that she had thought about what she had done and realised it was inappropriate, particularly since many young girls look forward to her. “I’m prepared to take responsibility for my acts. I’ve been thinking about my actions for a few days, and I know that I was incorrect,” she stated.
She expressed sorry for disappointing her fans and acknowledged that using the drug during the live stream was improper. “I want to take responsibility for the chemical I used on live video. I know I let a lot of people down, and there are young girls who will look up to me in the future, so it was really terrible of me,” she continued.
Additionally, Mitchy apologised in public to Seyi Tinubu, whom she called her employer, saying that even though she had already apologised in private, she felt compelled to do so because the incident had occurred in a public setting. “I apologise to my employer, ST Seyi Tinubu.
I want to apologise publicly because, although I did apologise in private, I disrespected you in public. “Sir, I’m so sorry,” she said. She also expressed regret to the Ooni of Ife for bringing up his name amid the controversy.”Daddy, I’m so sorry for bringing your name into this, Ooni of Ife,” she said.
Additionally, Mitchy spoke to activist VeryDarkMan, expressing apologies for confronting him earlier and acknowledging his advocacy. “To VeryDarkMan, my brother, I see that you are fighting for Nigeria, and together we can improve Nigeria.
” I apologise for attacking you in that manner. I think I understand you better now,” she remarked. In closing, she pointed out that in the struggle for a better Nigeria, the activist needs more allies than detractors. “You don’t need opponents; you need more supporters.” I apologise, my brother. “Thank you,” Mitchy continued.
