Former lawmaker, Senator Shehu Sani, has described Atiku Abubakar’s visit to former President Muhammadu Buhari as “hiking in the Sahara desert”.

Sani said Atiku, a former vice president, visiting Daura, Katsina state, would have no problem if he wanted to pay his respects to Sallah.
However, he said it would be like hiking in the Sahara desert if it were a political mission.

In a message on his X account on Sunday, Sani wrote: “If Daura’s visit is to pay tribute to Sallah then it doesn’t matter. If it were a political mission, it would be like walking across the Sahara desert.

Newspapers Pledged reports that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate in the last general election visited Buhari on Saturday at his residence in Daura, Katsina State.

Atiku was accompanied by former Governor of Sokoto State, Aminu Tambuwal, along with other PDP stakeholders.
