Omokri slams Peter Obi for his criticism of ‘new’ presidential plane for Tinubu
Well known Former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, on Monday accused the Labor Party’s 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, of lying about the alleged purchase of a presidential plane for the President Bola Tinubu.
Omokri said that contrary to Obi’s statement, the Nigerian government has no plans to buy a new private jet for Tinubu.
He clarified that the idea of changing President Tinubu’s special plane did not come from the presidency.
Newspapers Pledged on Friday reported that the House National Security and Intelligence Committee had asked the FG to purchase new aircraft for Tinubu and Shettima.
Reacting, Obi said: “It is noted that our presidential aircraft have an average lifespan of 12 years, purchased when most Nigerians can afford basic necessities. Today, as our country faces significant challenges, including high debt, our people need it even more. »
However, Omokri criticized Obi’s comments, which he described as “another lie by Gbajue”.

“The reason is that no such plan exists. It was Congress that raised this idea and that is its right. The executive authority has not yet developed such plans and has not allocated funds for this purpose.

What he did not tell his gullible supporters was that this project was initiated and funded by previous administrations, since our party, the People’s Democratic Party, was in power. Please note that Peter Obi was our card-carrying member at the time, but he did not attack the project.
“Mr Peter Obi relied on your gullibility and your refusal to research what you read before believing it. That’s why he lied like that.
