Sanwo-Olu, El-Rufai, Sanusi, Abiodun, Others Storm Tunde Bakare’s 70th Birthday Celebration (Photos)

Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State was among the notable dignitaries who attended a special thanksgiving service on Monday, November 11, to mark the 70th birthday of the founder of the Citadel Global Community Church, Pastor Tunde Bakare.

The ceremony, which took place in Lagos, was also attended by other notable politicians such as Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, former Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat, Emir of Kano, Muhammad Sanusi, II.

Also attended were many former governors and kings, including former Governors of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba and Senator Ibikunle Amosun, former Governor of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi, and Oba Adedun Gbadebo, the Alake of Egbaland.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, who attended the ceremony, shared photos from the event on social media and expressed his delight at being with others to mark the milestone.

Apart from the celebrations, Sanwo-Olu also announced that the event marked the official launch of Bakare’s autobiography, “The Last, But Definitely Not the Least.”

“Today I attended a special celebration service to mark the 70th birthday of Pastor Tunde Bakare, Overseer of the Citadel Global Community Church, and the publication of his autobiography, The Last, But Definitely Not The Least.”

“Pastor Tunde Bakare’s dynamic preaching and teachings have inspired many, and his dedication and commitment to service is truly outstanding.

He has been a beacon of hope through his efforts to positively impact the body of Christ and spread the gospel.

“As he celebrates this remarkable milestone, I pray that God will give him the grace and strength to continue his important work. May He also bless his health so that he may further serve humanity and the Kingdom of God.”
