Pastor Tomiwa Immanuel has responded to Twitter influencer Ajebo Danny, who claimed that prayer is ineffective and that hard work is the key to prosperity.
Tomiwa responded in a Twitter post, stating that Danny will not survive if forces of darkness visit him.
He wrote:
“When the forces of darkness come to visit you, your hard work will be ineffective; it will be God’s power that will make the difference. The devil desires not only your financial ruin, but also your soul.
He intends to finish you off with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, depravity, and much more. He enjoys the defeat that people feel when they realise that their money cannot save them.
Money cannot alleviate the oppression of dark forces. Money cannot heal all diseases. Money cannot satisfy the soul. Money cannot keep you from sin. Money cannot make you righteous before God’s impending judgement (whether or not you acknowledge Him).
Money cannot truly uplift your soul;
Only Jesus can. There have been numerous cases of wealthy individuals committing suicide. Their mansions simply gave them more space to suffer in the despair of an empty and depressed soul.
Their cars could not take them away from their internal conflict.
Jesus Christ provides joy for sorrow, beauty for ashes, strength for weakness, hope for fear, and, most importantly, eternal life if you believe in Him.”
