According to him, on the day he left for the US hospital, a man he knew left for the UK with the same type of cancer, but unfortunately he did not survive.
Founder and Senior Pastor of Word of Life Bible Church and former President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Pastor Ayodele Oritsejafor, shared his battle with cancer and how God helped him overcome it.
He narrated his battle in a recent congregational broadcast titled “Mana with Papa Ayo”.
According to the clergyman, on the same day he left Nigeria for treatment in the US, a man he knew left for the UK with the same type of cancer, but unfortunately he did not survive.
According to him, when I went to the US, a man I knew went to the UK with the same type of cancer. It is an aggressive type of cancer. The day I boarded the plane to Nigeria, he was in his coffin.
Here are his words: “But I didn’t tell you that I flew to America with cancer. You didn’t know, I didn’t tell you. I look normal because that’s my lifestyle.” “Listen, I was standing on two legs. I got on a plane and he wasn’t there. Don’t clap, because I’m not better than him. But God remembered my heart. I’ve always had a heart for God.
“I told God, ‘If you can get me out of this, I’ll serve you double. I’ll serve you twice as much.'” God saved me and brought me home.”
Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor is the founder and senior pastor of Word of Life Bible Church. In July 2010, he was the first Pentecostal to be elected president of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
