MoveAndDream, a music executive, artist, and entrepreneur, recently posted an interesting issue on social media that sparked conversation. In a video that he uploaded to his TikTok site, he said that a lot of people think that someone would come to their aid because they grew up watching films that primarily feature heroes rescuing the day.
He condemned what he called people’s innate expectations when they think someone else has more money or riches, as well as the bitterness that arises when those expectations aren’t met.
He claimed that getting rid of that mindset will make people more self-reliant.
“No one is coming to rescue you.” He continued.
