Tinubu leaves Nigeria on Sunday for Saudi Arabia

As it is reported that President Bola Tinubu will leave Nigeria on Sunday for Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Tinubu will attend the Arab-Islamic Joint Summit, which will focus on the Middle East situation.
The planned trip was announced on Saturday by Presidential Spokesperson Bayo Onanuga.

The summit will begin on Monday, November 11, 2024.

By NEWSPAPER PLEDGE The statement further added, “It will be held at the invitation of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, following last year’s summit in the same Saudi Arabian city.

“During the summit, President Tinubu is expected to address the ongoing Israeli-Palestinian conflict and underscore Nigeria’s urgent call for an immediate ceasefire and the urgent need for a peaceful resolution.

“Nigeria also commits to renewed efforts to revive the two-state solution as a path to lasting peace in the region.”

The President’s guests include National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu and Minister of Foreign Affairs Yusuf Tugar.

Other guests include Minister of Information and National Orientation Alhaji Mohammed Idris and Director-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed.
