After discussing her marriage to fellow actor Kolawole Ajeyemi and calling him the nicest thing that has ever happened to her, Nollywood actress Toyin Abraham has won people over.
In a recent online interview, the actress stated that her spouse never attempted to coerce her into changing, but instead allowed her to make better decisions on her own, such as giving up smoking after becoming pregnant.
She added that although she used to smoke cigarettes, she has since quit and now occasionally vapes instead, saying her spouse has always allowed her to be herself.
She clarified that her husband reminded her that smoking was no longer an option due to the unborn child when she became pregnant.
She remembered that after giving child, she had smoked in his company, and rather than chastise her, he provided a calm but firm warning that changed her view altogether.
She claims he informed her he wasn’t going to stop her from drinking or smoking, but he made it clear that their marriage would end the day he witnessed such behaviours in their child.
Toyin Abraham and Kolawole Ajeyemi married in a secret ceremony in 2019 and welcomed their son, Iremide, later that year.
Her admission has subsequently earned adulation from fans online, with many commending the actor calm attitude to fostering positive change and holding the couple up as an example of understanding and mutual respect in marriage.
